VAT on commercial property
This is a complicated issue and one which, unless properly considered at the right time, can be a very costly burden for the client. As Solicitors, we would not hold ourselves out as experts in this field and, while we would always raise this particular issue with the client, we would always advise you to take advice from your accountant on this point in advance of entering into a commercial property transaction.
