Care for the Elderly
The new civil contract for publicly funded work (legal aid) comes into effect on the 14th October 2010. We made a strategic business decision not to apply for a new family contract and accordingly from that date onwards we will not be able to accept instructions from clients for new family matters. This will not affect the public funding certificates that are in existence on the 14th October and we will be able - and will be pleased - to continue acting under the terms of a client's existing certificate until the conclusion of the client's case.
